Three taps, or three minutes.
Both are playing properly.
The fast path is one tap per match. Everything beyond that is optional depth that pays more — so a casual player and an obsessive one can share the same league.
Call the winner
Tap a county. That's a complete call, worth 10 points — 20 if you back a draw, and GAA throws up more of those than you'd think.
Call the scoreline
Goals and points on separate counters, the way a real scoreboard works. Get the margin close, the goal count right, or the whole thing exact.
Pick your banker
One match a round scores double. Most people back a certainty. The bold ones don't.

The same rules apply to every competition, in both codes. Picks lock at each match's own throw-in, not at the start of the round.
Wider margins since the arc
Long-range shooting has widened the margins since the two-pointer came in. You still call it the same way — goals and points — so a good shooting side is something you read into the margin, not a box you tick.
